Centralized and decentralized marketplace connectivity for affiliated groups

Case Study

Objectives

eBay’s goal was to push the development of partnerships and to establish an individual solution with the large affiliated groups. In addition to expanding the assortment of professional sellers at attractive prices on the eBay marketplace, the expansion of these partnerships was also to be professionally supported.

Solution

To make it easier to overcome the hurdles of cooperation between eBay and various affiliated groups, we have developed a construction kit that enables multi-dimensional configurations between centralized and decentralized processes.

Results

By developing a modular system for cooperation with different retail organizations, we have succeeded in enabling multidimensional configuration between centralized and decentralized processes. This has resulted in pilots and long-term partnerships with retail groups such as Euronics, Expert, Intersport, Duo Schreib & Spiel, Vedes and many others. Based on the flexible modular system, individual solutions can be easily implemented according to the respective DNA of the retail group.
